From gazing to understanding

As a mathematics education researcher from India, I try to capture glimpses of messy terrain named education— or maybe field-notes experiential tours, humbly inviting the MES community engage and together become more reflexive towards our collective practices baggage. This paper would, nonetheless, ask questions pertaining education. However, it would not start with asking them, marking them as research questions. In this paper, rather trace birthmarks certain questions; show how endeavour brings us existential methodological issues in conducting reporting research.
